A Brief Background

I hold a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College in Psychology and an M.S. degree in Remedial Reading. 

For the past twenty-one years, I was a Senior Associate at Merrill Lynch. I was registered with the Securities Exchange Commission having passed the Series 7, Series 63 and 65. My job was communicating with clients, answering questions regarding their investments, resolving any existing problems (missing dividends, company mergers, etc), reviewing portfolios and making suggestions for future investment. 

In June of 2008, after much deliberation, I decided to retire from Merrill Lynch. However, when I made the decision to retire, I also decided not to leave the financial world completely. In my years at Merrill I would occasionally notice a client who for whatever reason, was not capable of handling their own finances and administrative affairs. I found there was a need to provide special services for this cross section of the population. Therefore, I established Handled by Holly to focus on assisting clients in getting their affairs in order, and maintaining them in a clear understandable fashion.
